Put it on your home screen

Add Wingshot to your home screen and it opens full screen like a normal app, and keeps working without a signal once it has loaded.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open wingshot.app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow). On iOS 26, tap ••• beside the address first, then Share.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Leave Open as Web App switched on if you see it, then tap Add.
  5. Start Wingshot from its new icon on your home screen.

Android

  1. Open wingshot.app in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install the app above if it shows. If not, tap the ⋮ menu and pick Add to Home screen or Install app.
  3. Tap Install, then start Wingshot from your home screen.

Android testers on the Google Play test get the full app from the Play Store instead, with vibration and app updates.

Good to know

  • Your progress stays on this device, in this browser. Coins, guns and rank are saved by the browser you play in. They don't carry over to another phone, another browser or the Play Store app. On iPhone, the home screen app keeps its own save, separate from the Safari tab, so pick one and stick with it. Clearing your browser's website data wipes the save.
  • No vibration on iPhone. Safari doesn't let websites vibrate the phone. Android browsers do.
  • Sound on iPhone follows the silent switch. If it's quiet, flip the switch off silent and turn the volume up.
  • Ads and purchases are stand-ins. The web version has no real ads or shop: an "ad" is a 3 second pause that still gives you the reward, and nothing ever costs real money.
  • Updates arrive by themselves. Open the game while you have a signal and it picks up the latest version.
